Aluminium ingots

Product Detail

Aluminium ingots

Aluminium ingots are solid blocks of pure or alloyed aluminium produced through smelting and casting processes. They serve as raw materials for casting, extrusion, rolling, and other industrial applications in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, construction, packaging, and electrical industries.

Specifications vary based on purity, alloy composition, and intended use. Below are general parameters:

  • Purity: 99% – 99.9% Al (depending on the grade).
  • Alloy Grades: 1050, 1060, 1100, 2024, 3003, 5052, 6061, 6063, 7075, ADC12, LM6, A356, etc.
  • Impurities:
    • Silicon (Si): ≤ 0.05% – 12% (varies by alloy type)
    • Iron (Fe): ≤ 0.1% – 1.3%
    • Copper (Cu): ≤ 0.01% – 4%
    • Magnesium (Mg): ≤ 0.01% – 1.5%
    • Manganese (Mn): ≤ 0.01% – 1.2%
    • Zinc (Zn): ≤ 0.01% – 3%
  • Weight: 5kg – 25kg per ingot (standard sizes vary by manufacturer).
  • Form: Rectangular, T-bar, or customized shapes.
  • Surface Finish: Smooth or rough (depending on the casting method).
  • Packaging: Bundled, strapped, or palletized.
